1.
The Zuellig Family Foundation (ZFF), in
collaboration with the League of Provinces of the Philippines (LPP), is
implementing the program "Scaling Up Nutrition Governance to End Stunting
Faster" through the Nutrition Leadership and Equity Acceleration Program
(NutriLEAP). This initiative aims to strengthen the role of governors and their
core teams via the Provincial Nutrition Governance Program (PNGP), enhancing
health and nutrition outcomes to more effectively combat stunting and
malnutrition.
2. Additional
components of the program include the Governors Engagement with Mayors,
Nutrition Leadership for Development (NutriLe4D) workshops for local nutrition
committees, as well as practicum sessions, coaching, training of trainers, and
the rollout of select projects and interventions.
3.
The Zuellig Family Foundation (ZFF) facilitates
high-level collaboration between provincial governors and municipal mayors
through initiatives like Governors Engagement with Mayors, where governors
engage directly with mayors to strengthen coordination across levels of
government, ensure consistent implementation of evidence-based interventions,
and build capacity for local teams. This partnership ensures that provincial
priorities translate into tailored municipal actions, driving collective
progress in improving health and nutrition outcomes for communities.

By the end of the session, the Governor will be

aligns efforts, implements evidence-based interventions, and advances
